Billing Clerk Jobs description
A billing clerk prepares customer bills, tally's bills, and calculates whether discounts or special rates apply. Duties include maintaining documents and records like purchase orders or sales tickets. A billing clerk may also calculate the work hours of employees with reference to implied rates of a company. A billing clerk may operate billing machines, put bills in envelopes, and also send bills to customers electronically via email.A billing clerk job requires high school education with good mathematical abilities. Business software and accounting knowledge is always an advantage.
