Receptionist Jobs description
A receptionist has responsibilities which include greeting visitors courteously, escorting them to their destinations in the office, receiving telephone calls, scheduling meetings, checking availability of conference room in anticipation of meetings, receiving and distributing mails to concerned people in the office, keeping logs for stationeries and books issued to employees, assisting managers with minor duties in absence of their personal assistants, and scheduling and fixing appointments.A receptionist should have a high school diploma or a bachelor's degree. Prior experience as receptionist may be advantageous. Ability to make use of Microsoft Office applications is generally desired for such positions.
