Business Administration Jobs description
A business administrator is responsible for handling accounting through financial statements. A business administrator handles the verification and preparation of deposit slips, and keeps record of cash receipts. A business administrator prepares accounts payable module, codes (general ledger accounts) and monitors current payments, on monthly basis keeping an account of all bank accounts and investment accounts. A business administrator processes and file documents, posts monthly recurring journal entries and other adjusting journal entries. A business administrator may also be required to prepare GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) financial statements, which may include revenue and expense variance analysis from the year to date.A business administrator should have at least an associate's degree preferably in accounting. Experience with financial statements is important. A business administrator with knowledge in computerized accounting systems is at an advantage.
