FordHarrison LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation secretary for its West Palm office. The legal secretary will support a team of attorneys to deliver quality legal services to clients. The secretary assists attorneys in all phases of the litigation discovery process; helping attorneys prepare for hearings, arbitrations, and trials. The legal secretary processes monthly expense reports, formats and proofreads legal documents, e-files, coordinates meetings, and oversees the conflict check and client intake process for new matters. The ideal candidate must be able to type at least 65 WPM and have a minimum of four years of solid litigation experience. Experience with local, state, and federal law in the state of Florida is required. Candidates must have intermediate to advance MS Office skills, possesses excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written), be able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and maintain a positive “can-do” attitude with internal and external clients.
