Business Administration Jobs description

A business administrator is responsible for handling accounting through financial statements. A business administrator handles the verification and preparation of deposit slips, and keeps record of cash receipts. A business administrator prepares accounts payable module, codes (general ledger accounts) and monitors current payments, on monthly basis keeping an account of all bank accounts and investment accounts. A business administrator processes and file documents, posts monthly recurring journal entries and other adjusting journal entries. A business administrator may also be required to prepare GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) financial statements, which may include revenue and expense variance analysis from the year to date.

A business administrator should have at least an associate's degree preferably in accounting. Experience with financial statements is important. A business administrator with knowledge in computerized accounting systems is at an advantage.
