Profile

Must be friendly, personable and like talking to the public.

Must have good computer skills, including a working knowledge of the Windows op­erating system.

Must be detail oriented, have an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Must have some prior law firm or legal experience except for law students. Prior experience in or a working knowledge of business and/or consumer bankruptcy law is pre­ferred, but not absolutely required. The pay scale for persons with experience in bankruptcy law will be higher than for per­sons with no substantive knowledge of bankruptcy law.

Must be prompt and come to work on time.

Duties:

preparation of bankruptcy schedules, bankruptcy plans and related docu­ments

interviewing and reviewing documents with clients contacting trustee’s offices and creditor’s attorneys regarding pending cases

computer work using Adobe Acrobat 9, Bankruptcy Pro 11, WordPerfect X3, Outlook 2007, Excel 2007 and Time Slips 9.0

reception and filing

Compensation:

Compensation is negotiable, competitive and based on expe­rience.
