Project Assistant
We're conducting a search for a client for a Project Assistant at an Industry Leading Architecture Firm in the Loop. The role will be supporting a collection of Projects as well as the Project Leads. This is a highly visible role that will definitively impact the outcome of each project. The company culture is incredibly collaborative and team-focused! The ideal candidate will be able to stay one step ahead of the project and will act as an extension of the Lead Partner on each project.

8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Requirements:
-“Can do” Attitude.
-Able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
-Highly organized with the ability to be detail oriented.
-Presentable and professional presence.
-Well versed in Microsoft Office and various database programs.
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
-InDesign
Responsibilities:
-Work, as a team member, by assisting Lead Architects and staff, in the performance of planned, and requested tasks, leading to the completion of successful architectural projects.
-Perform duties by utilizing: Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook; Teams; Newforma; Bluebeam;
Photoshop; and other applicable software.
-Prepare and edit agreements, fee proposals, meeting minutes, agendas, and other project r
elated documentation.
-Create field reports and VMU reports in Indesign.
-Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
-Organize, log, and file shop drawings while utilizing project management software.
-Transpose hand markups of drawings, while adding Architect comments and actions to digital
documentation.
-Organize and manage libraries, as well as databases for tracking resources.
-Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms and, if necessary, arrange to have lunch or
refreshments served.
-Cooperate with others, by assisting with work overflow and brief scheduled, and fill-in, reception coverage.
-Engage with travel providers to schedule effective firm-wide travel and accommodations.
