This is an ideal time to take on a leadership and management role to help support the academic administration within the Faculty. We are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join our team working in particular with the Medical, Dental Schools and the Faculty Assessment team. You will liaise with key University Departments such as the Academic Registry in addition to a number of External Stakeholders to support the efficient operation of the student experience. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Senior Programme Administrators within the Faculty. You will be responsible for working with the Faculty Registrar in advising academic staff on regulations, reviewing processes with teams in relation to key academic administrative processes such as enrolment, academic offences, extenuating circumstances, complaints and appeals. You will manage the Assessment Team who are responsible for delivering on line assessments and therefore an interest in technical systems is advantageous. In addition you will have responsibility to deputising for the Faculty Registrar and leading on specific projects on their behalf. You will need to be able to multi task, manage a complex, high volume workload and have the ability to manage and prioritise this at peak times. You will need to be resilient, adaptable and inspired and motivated by change. Experience of leading, inspiring and motivating a team, proven communication, interpersonal and influencing skills coupled with excellent IT skills and experience of data analysis are some of the key qualities that are required. The ability to work independently is also a key skill. Full details for the role are in the job description. The location of this post is the John Bull Building, Derriford. Travel between University sites (including sites in Exeter and Cornwall) may be required at times. Please demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the knowledge, qualifications, training and experience elements of the job description in your supporting statement.
