Provides high level development coordination, administrative support and teamwork towards a broad range of individual giving, prospect development, gift planning and grateful patient programmatic activities within Atrium Health Foundation. Responsible for proactively collaborating on a variety of strategic tasks and initiatives to increase gift officer productivity and campaign fundraising results in support of Atrium Health and to inspire transformational giving to improve health, elevate hope and advance healing - for all. 


*Collaborates with the Senior Vice President for Development and proactively supports the frontline work of designated Development team members on a wide variety of important development coordination initiatives (i.e., managing complex calendars; drafting donor briefings; supporting the advancement of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies; entering contact reports; assisting with donor correspondence; coordinating and supporting teamwork around gift proposals as needed; tracking meaningful donor qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship steps). Plays an integral role in prioritizing prospects for transformational, principal, major, leadership annual, and planned giving in support of campaign initiatives. *Partners closely with the Director of Prospect Development to support the building and growth of a best-in-class prospect development program, grateful patient program and campaign prospect pool/pipeline of individual, corporate and foundation prospects. Collaborates on the distribution, identification and qualification of new grateful patient prospects and donor prospects, tracking of proposals in Raiser's Edge, preparation of reports, and participation in prospect strategy sessions/periodic portfolio review meetings to effectively move and manage top prospects and donors. *Interacts with physician partners, health system leadership, donors and teammates at Atrium Health and Atrium Health Foundation on a wide variety of development coordination. *Performs complex confidential duties and related special projects using discretion, interpretation, personal judgment, and professionalism and requiring maintenance and coordination of sensitive and confidential materials and HIPAA compliance. *Routinely completes general and designated Foundation staff disbursement requests. *Simultaneously conducts and/or coordinates ongoing development activities, special campaign projects and assignments while keeping all moving forward in line with Foundation goals and objectives.


Work requires frequent walking, standing and prolonged sitting. Work requires lifting up to 15 pounds.


High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred. 2 years administrative or non-profit fundraising experience preferred. Knowledge of fundraising principles is helpful. Excellent organizational and communications skills.
