Description
The Market Operations Coordinator 2 provides support to assigned health plan and/or specialty companies relative to Medicare product implementation, operations, contract compliance, and federal contract application submissions. The Market Operations Coordinator 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
The Market Operations Coordinator 2 serves as the primary resource on regulations for all assigned health plans. Ensures that assigned health plans are meeting or exceeding corporate Medicare performance benchmarks. Maintains relationships with regulators within a region. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
2 or more years experience as an Administrative Assistant supporting mid to senior level executives
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Comfortable with virtual technology
Excellent organizational, written and communications skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to work across business lines
Ability to work under pressure when meeting department deadlines
Ability of type 50-55 wpm
Capacity to maintain confidentiality and work independently in support of the department
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio, internet research and proof-reading/editing
