Additional information about transcripts is in this document.nnSpecialized Experience: At least one full year of specialized experience which includes experience implementing a wide range of principles, concepts, and methodologies related to healthcare quality and management systems; responsible for personnel committees charged with execution, allocation, and management of funds and resources; resolves complex and unusual health care administration issues and ensures attainment of compliance with standards required for health care service; develops innovative methods to enhance efficiencies in the management and administration of a highly complex health care delivery system. Progressively responsible analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field. This work may have been performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. Work must have involved a close working relationship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following:n- Missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems;n- Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups;nandn- Government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement.nThis definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).nnSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
