Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Secretary/Technician for the Cardio Admin department at Overlook Medical Center to various shift including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The Cardiovascular Secretary/Technician candidate must have exceptional communication, organizational and customer service skills.
The candidate will have physician office or related experience, and efficiently coordinate the flow of patients, physicians and staff in a fast-paced patient care setting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling patients for cardiovascular testing, and registration.
The Secretary/Technician candidate will be focused and flexible, willing to pitch in as needed and assist with patient care and transportation as needed to meet the patient and department needs.
The candidate must be flexible to adjust hours to meet the needs of the department.
The candidate must also be proficient at coordination and organization of administrative duties to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of patient flow.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
College preferred
Minimum Experience:
Prior administrative and/or patient care experience in health care is preferred.
Registration experience is desirable. The candidate must promote the Atlantic Health System PRIDE Values.
Must meet the requirements of a Secretary/Technician Criteria Based Performance Appraisal.
Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
Must ensure patient/family expectations are exceeded.
