Aon Is Looking for an Executive Assistant! As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health practice business group within Aon Health Solutions. This position will be based out of Aon’s Chicago office, and we are open to a hybrid work arrangement where you will report to the Chicago office 2-3 days a week.Your Impact as an Executive AssistantJob Responsibilities:Create and maintain Distribution GroupsSchedules, and coordinates meetings, via Webex Teams or in person securing room reservations and food ordering/delivery, if necessaryActs as a key resource for the team (e.g., independently seeks out answers to questions, takes initiative, leverages network of resources to solve problems)Performs Internet researchAssists with overflow work from Administrative and Executive AssistantsWorks as an effective team member by contributing toward sickness and holiday coverage when necessaryPrepares and produces presentations and correspondence, graphic presentations, and other documents, including editing for grammar, punctuation, and claritySubmits printing requests for meetings and other needs as necessary; ensures accuracy of printed materials before distributionMaintains files, databases, or SharePoint sites as appropriateUses internal travel tool to research travel options and book travelPrepares and submits expense reportsRecords time accurately and submits according to corporate guidelinesMaintains a flexible approach and attitude toward assisting othersPrioritizes work, makes measurable progress on assignments, and delivers quality resultsHas a basic understanding of practice/business terminologyDevelops and maintains a sound knowledge of internal network and resourcesAttends and participates in all AOM‑focused workshops, seminars, and/or town hallsAttends business town hallsServes as resource for Aon brandingProvides tremendous leadership and partners with all colleaguesSeeks additional responsibilitiesThis list is not all‑inclusive; other tasks may vary based on business needYou Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in executive-level supportAdvanced level computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and other programs as applicableTyping speed of 55 wpm with proven accuracyExcellent customer service skills and outstanding attention to detailOutstanding writing skills—grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreadingSuperior verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership skillsModels professional appearance and demeanor in a business environment; dress for the situationA wide degree of creativity and latitude is encouragedSuggests approaches for resolving problemsMaintains a high level of confidentialitySelf-motivated, teammate who can work independently under minimal directionAbility to effectively interact with clients & team members, maintaining professionalism at all timesAbility to work in a high-paced, demanding environmentSelf-directed prioritization of work and projects; demonstrate measurable progress through open communication to leaders and team members consistently and with the highest qualityEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent.
