\u003cli\u003eFollow defined procedures to create and transmit clean claims to clearinghouse\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProcess daily deposit receipts, print EOB\u0026rsquo;s and complete deposit spreadsheet daily\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsure accurate and current insurance information is entered in\u0026nbsp;Electronic Health Records System\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eInform clinicians and other appropriate revenue cycle team members of insurance changes and/or need for updated insurance information\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAddress and follow up on items on the third party billing suspense report weekly, edit claims that are suspending and notify clinicians or appropriate revenue cycle team members of suspending claims prior to submission to clearinghouse\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eEnsure all services are claimed to primary insurance within expected timeframe or notify the supervisor of identified issues\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eResearch errors in claim processing and denied claims and follow up with insurance companies, clearinghouses (and families when necessary)\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProcess enrollment applications for both government and commercial health plans, and manage the ongoing participation requirements of the plans for all practitioners enrolled\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePopulate, maintain, and update the credentialing software including accountability for the integrity of information they enter into the database\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAccess external databases to obtain primary source documents necessary to complete the applications according to organizational policy\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCollaborate with other revenue cycle team members to identify and resolve issues\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eParticipate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) efforts to improve the process of claiming\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProvide accurate, professional and timely communication to applicable revenue cycle team members\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssist with month end procedures and year end audit\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePerform tasks/projects to support other revenue cycle operations as needed.\u003c/li\u003e

\u003cli\u003eBA/BS/AAS in related field such as medical coding/billing, accounting or health information preferred; OR equivalent educational and experience required\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eExtensive Experience with medical billing and submitting claims (at least 2-3 years)\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAbility to follow up on claims, check and solve rejections, resubmit claims\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eExperience with insurance carriers including Medicaid, ICD -10, CPT codes, modifiers\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eUnderstanding the EOP-Explanation of Payments, Coordination of Benefits, Insurance Priorities\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePrevious experience with Mental Health Services billing preferred\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAbility to participate collaboratively in performance quality improvement (PQI) activities related to processing claims\u003c/li\u003e
