Under the supervision of a Mental Health Program Director and Program Coordinator, secretary provides receptionist, secretarial and clerical support in a community-based mental health clinic serving adults.
Duties:
Full-time position performs a variety of reception, secretarial & clerical tasks for the entire clinic, such as answering multi-line phone and transferring calls; dispatching information to team members in field; greeting visitors; taking referrals; scheduling appointments; maintaining and monitoring client records; data entry to an electronic health record; preparing publications and other documents; filing; typing and transcribing dictation; assisting with special projects; and use of multiple computer programs.
Qualifications:
Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Daytime business hours required. Also evening hours on Tuesday required. Some additional evening hours may be required. EXPERIENCE: One year of office experience required. Prior experience in a medical or mental health office required. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint required. MS Publisher skillset desirable. Experience in working with electronic medical records preferred. Strong customer service skill required. Ability to work as part of a team of professionals in a public mental health setting required.
